Welcome to beautiful sunny southern Maine. Join us to paddle pristine scenic coastlines and clean rivers. We believe that outdoor recreation keeps people healthy body and soul. We provide lake and sea kayak rentals and tours led by maine licsenced guides, along with bike rentals.
Our Misssion
Here at Coastal Maine kayak we are a team, and our goal is your satisfaction. Our kayak rentals are all high-end sea kayaks. That is because we believe in your safety first. These kayaks are specific to Maine’s coastal waters and even better while perusing inland waterways. In our rental fleet we have a variety of Valley and Necky sea kayaks. We have tandems (Two adults and up to 2 small children in one boat) and singles for every size and experience level. We have beginner boats (very stable and easy to use), intermediary boats (more tippy but a little faster) and performance boats (very tippy but very sleek and fast). Rentals come with paddling instruction and safety briefing, given by a licensed Maine Guide. (Please feel free to ask to see our many certifications).
We offer free delivery for full day rentals. We are very flexible and we will work with you to ensure you have the best time on the water.
We also offer self and team rescue clinics, kayak rolling clinics, and paddle stroke instruction. we do may coporate retreates and can handle any number of people we have had groups of 40 and 65 in the past.
Located at our Kennbunkport location is our docks onto the kennebunk river and our retail store.
